Raid the Theatre of Blood (ToB) in Entry or Normal mode with your own accounts, or bring one account and team up with other players by invite code or Find a team (beta). Every account runs the script, which forms the party, plays all six rooms and handles the bank and Grand Exchange between raids.
How many instances do I need?
- One instance runs one account at a time, so each account in your team needs its own.
- Normal mode needs a team of three accounts:
- Your own three accounts: buy 3 instances and run the whole team yourself.
- One account: buy 1 instance and team up with two other players running the script. Tick Find a team (beta) to be matched with them automatically, or find them in #tob-lfg on our Discord.
- Entry mode can be played with a single account, though it's for learning the raid, not for loot.
Bring your team
Group your own accounts with a party name, or share an invite code with other players running the script. Every account needs the same mode and team size, and an invite code sets both. Find a team (beta) matches an account with two other players running the script in the same mode, as a mage, a ranger and a melee. Teammates from an invite code or Find a team can see your account's name in the game. For a Normal team with an account new to the Theatre, tick Entry first on every account to warm up with a few Entry raids together.
Team requirements
- Entry mode: one to five accounts.
- Normal mode: three to five accounts.
- Every team: a melee, a ranged and a magic weapon between them for the Nylocas colours, and a poison source for Verzik's purple crab, such as a toxic blowpipe or a poisoned dragon dagger.
- Normal mode: a freezer for Maiden's crabs, on the Ancient Magicks with the Magic level and runes for Ice Barrage.
A usual trio is a mage who freezes, a ranger and a melee, and Suggest a setup fills each role. Recommended: a freezer in an Entry team of three or more, and a defence-draining special attack such as a dragon warhammer in Normal mode.
Set up each account
Open your bank, pick a role, and Suggest a setup fills the account's gear and inventory from its levels, what it owns and your budget. Nothing is bought until the script starts; with restocking on, it then buys what's missing. Loadout Check stops a setup that can't work, and the lobby's team checks stop a team missing a duty and name what it needs.
Every room covered
Duties come from each account's gear, and switches from the weapons it carries. In a team of three or more, an account that can freeze holds Maiden's crabs. Each account takes its own Nylocas colours, and the team runs Sotetseg's maze and every phase of Verzik together, sharing spare potions with whoever runs short there.
Ready for the next raid
Before every raid it repairs and refills what needs it and gears up at the bank. Vault loot goes to the bank, and after a Normal wipe it claims the reclaim chest. With restocking on, a Grand Exchange trip sells the raids' loot, never your own stock, then buys what the bank is short of while the team waits. Uniques are kept unless you choose to sell them. It relogs ahead of the six-hour logout. The sidebar shows your profit and the team's, and Stop After This Raid ends the run after the current raid.
Plays like its own player
Each account keeps its own reaction timing and camera habits, and takes a moment to look at its loot. A new profile starts with random AFKs, short breaks and the learning curve on; with the curve, a fresh account plays a little more cautiously until it settles in. In a team of your own accounts or from an invite code, breaks any account turns on are taken by the whole team together, never inside the Theatre. With Find a team, each account keeps its own breaks and leaves its team before a break that logs it out.
Recommended stats and gear
- Entry mode: 75+ Attack, Strength, Defence, Hitpoints, Ranged, Magic and Prayer, and about 4m gp of gear.
- Normal mode: 90+ Attack, Strength, Hitpoints and Ranged, 80+ Defence, and about 50m gp of gear per account.
- Normal mode Prayer: 70+ for Piety on a melee, 74+ for Rigour on a ranger and 77+ for Augury on a mage.
- Normal mode freezer: 94 Magic for Ice Barrage.
- Find a team (beta): 80+ Defence, Hitpoints and the combat stats the account's role and gear use, and 70+ Prayer; 70+ in each in Entry mode.
A Normal raid's food, potions, runes and charges cost roughly 150k to 400k gp per account, the most for a mage on a charged staff. Entry mode costs far less, and its loot is far smaller too. Prices are approximate and follow the Grand Exchange.
Before you start
Members only. An account that hasn't done Priest in Peril completes it first. Every account needs food and prayer restores, a bank holding its setup or the gold to buy what runs out, and the same version of the script. Normal mode also needs reclaim fees in each account's bank. Recommended: Drakan's medallion for the trip. Turn on Auto-Bond and the script buys and redeems a bond at the Grand Exchange when membership runs out, then carries on.
